Papa, I'm following the discussion on ur morning. The fact is that the causes of 'non-performance' in terms of underground development are well known to the two parties of which AGA is a mojor culprit. The current contract is built on a 2000 meter call per month. It therefore means that MBC has recruited workers for that 2000 meter capacity, therefore MBC can effectively operate when AGA calls this 2000 meters per month.
Ask AGA how much of these meters they have called with the last 20 years? How much have they compensated MBC for breaching their part of the contract. Even the low meters that they call, some faces are found not to be workable. AGA owes MBC abt US$ 33m.
This have largely affected MBC's performance.
It is therefore not fair for AGA to have contributed to this mess over the period and turn around to accused MBC for not being efficient.
Ask yourself why they are picking our workers if indeed we are not performing.
They only need to pay us what they owe us, then we can change our machines underground and when they plan well and give us workable areas and the required meters we will give them.
